Akinwumi Olutoyin Okeremi, Esq.

Akinwumi has over two decades experience of practice in almost every kind of litigation; from esoteric disputes surrounding little known Statutes, to complex commercial litigation and arbitration.  He founded Clarks & Moore, a general law practice in January 2006, following several years of practice with various leading law firms in Nigeria. He has litigated a variety of matters including employment disputes, consumer class actions, complex matrimonial matters, complex land matters, chieftaincy matters, as well as commercial and securities matters.

‘Wumi is committed to representing important social interests and causes through legal practice. As lead counsel, he has prevailed in high-profile litigation or arbitration against some of the largest corporate defendants, and law firms, in Nigeria and abroad.

Akinwumi also has valuable experience in company secretarial matters and has legal retention with some high profile companies in Nigeria.

Wumi is a member of various professional associations including; the Nigeria Institute of Management (AMNIM) and the Nigerian Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Fountain of Hope Society International NG1 and a honorary member of the Lions club.
